We choose the BC Supreme Court registry with the best processing time from the registries we regularly use. This keeps costs low by allowing us to bulk file at one registry and provides you with the fastest possible divorce. This service will allow you to add a custom BC Supreme Court.

About the default court

In an uncontested divorce, a personal appearance by the applicant(s) is not required, so the location of the court should not negatively impact you. However, if your divorce becomes contested, you can request the court transfer the case to the registry of your choice (additional costs may apply).

How to change the default court

1. First, select your custom court from the list and checkout,
2. Then, wait for us to notify you that the change has been applied to your documents,
3. Finally, generate your documents with the new court name on them.

Things to consider with a custom BC Supreme Court

1. The custom court is very likely to be slower than our default court,
2. You can only change the court before any document has been filed in your case,
3. At present, this service is only available for Canadian marriages.
